Posted some more photos. Before and after removing undercoating. The floors in the car are in great shape. Also, a few pics from Kenny when I got the car from him. (The PA plate and Ammon Smith plate do NOT go with the car.) Will post some more photos soon. Link to photos..

If anyone can or would link the photos direct to this ad, I would appreciate it. Just never had luck doing it myself. Thanks!

I've driven this car lots and the only problem with it is that it has a personality issue. It truly thinks it's a big block once it hits 4,500 RPM. The thing runs like a big block with those headers. I've never driven a Z with so much power in stock form.

I remember the Jenkins Strickler cars well. They raced out here in the mid west a lot during the mid and late 1960s. No one could best them and did they draw a crowd.

Patrick, I was searching for my old Z and decided to run the engine block number, V0825DZ. I found this match indicating you had that motor in your car. The vin number on your car does not match mine. Do you have any additional information? I have the original Protect-O-Plate that contains the engine number. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. With more that 20,000 Z-28's built in 1969 and subtracting out the weekends, I would guess there could be well over 100 engines with that stamping. You should search by the VIN on the POP not by the engine assembly date.

With the extended 69 production time due to the strike, I think Charlies number would be more accurate if you assume the same amount of motors were stamped each day.
