I think the "high hp option" that got nixed was supposed to be a Z28 with 500 hp +/- 422hp is on the standard order sheet from what I have seen.

Sounds like an opportunity for someone to build something with approx 600hp, in a very streetable package.

It's probably luck that GM can afford to put paint on it at all...
