my restored matching #1968 396/350 hp nova;turbo 400 car/grotto blue;bench seat and column shift ran a career best quarter mile ET of 13;19 with 3;42 gear and stock exhaust manifold on redline bias tires.Have a cool shot of the car leaving the line at our local 2008 night of fire event at orlando speedworld. As soon as I can get the scanner working i will post the pictures.Hey clary ,I used some wax and grease remover to remove the bias ply rubber from the quarters;worked very well.chris teed

Bruce ;with the 3;42 gear it runs through the traps at about 4800 rpm at 103mph.now my 375 hp car I am working on now should go through at 115mph or more.chris
