First of all, a big THANK YOU to all club members who participated. I wish I had got a count of exactly how members cars were there, and not for sure how many awards were won by members, but do know of a few. Congrats to all who took home an award.
The Z display was truly unbelievable. To see that many of them in a row, all colors and condition, was simply amazing. Darren, you did good.
As I said in another thread, Brian did a great job on the Nova display. Getting 18 solid lifter Novas together could not have been an easy task.
As always, was neat to watch folks point at Red Alert and the AMT model, telling others how they had once built that model. Having our Yenko Nova heading up the Nova display, along with BKH's, was a treat as well.
As a bonus, I got to spend time with several members of different “Supercar” families. Of course, the ever cheerful Helen Gibb and lovely daughter Nancy “Mr. Motion” himself, Joel Rosen, and Lynn Yenko, who came by to show a friend what a Yenko was.
