Where can I find the 1967 Nickey or Yenko Camaro serial numbers? Please PM info. I have a nice 1967 Camaro that I just picked up that has many tale tale signs of being more than just a basic Camaro. Nickey rear diff cover, dual traction bars. I am looking for many more signs but I have never researched the Yenco, Nickey, or COPO's... What else can I look for? I do not want to replace any parts that may confirm the possibility. I have attached a rear diff cover that I obtained from ebay for a reference.

The rear tail pan also has the orignal and slightly rust orignal Nickey emblems rivets with correct center to center measurements and the Camaro is a very nice rust free body too. Stefano your PM is still full.

Yenko VINs are, naturally, in the Yenko forum: here (http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/postlist.php/Cat/0/Board/vin) There isn't a public list of Nickey VINs, so Stefano is your only hope...!
As for your "newbie" status, it is based on the # of posts...
Show us photos of the car and engine compartment....that rear cover I think is pretty available...there is one on my 1966 Bel Air "post" car...but it was added
...good luck on your quest http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Just wishful thinking I guess but the rear emblem rivets still make it interesting. I am about to rip it apart and thought I would check with all the experts first. The good thing is that I can reuse all the parts and I will take many photos for ya'll. Yes thats right ya'll.

make sure you take pictures BEFORE you rip it apart ...

David,
Thanks for Submitting the info regarding your car to us.
Just as we responded: we are not able to determine what Super Car Status you may or may not have, based on the info provided. Here is what we were able to determine.
Your tail panel holes do not line up with Original Nickey Chrome Script Emblems. The traction bars on the car are not 1967 Nickey items. The rear end cover was not a Nickey Specific Item, although it was available through their catalogs and via the speed shop.
Have fun restoring your car.
Regards,
Stefano

Thanks for the clarification Stefano. I just have a nice rust free RS/SS 4K Camaro 4 speed with all the gauge options and an original modified rear. I need a 069 Intake, BB engine brackets, radiator, 621 bellhousing, and I am ready to rock and roll. I guess I will leave the Nickey rear diff. cover on it. It would be even nicer if someone would sell the original engine back to me like the 4K should have in it though.
