Quite a variety there. Don't think I've ever seen Artie Shaw, UFO, Doug Kershaw and Leslie Gore all in the same collection! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif

Charlie, in my defense I went to buy the 8 tracks but to get them I had to take all the records too, previous owner claimed they were his moms, so even he was embarrased. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif Records have since been given away, ended up with way more 8 tracks than I need, not like you listen to them for the sound quality thats for sure. People do get a kick when they see an AC/DC 8 track sticking out of the Deck.

Dave - I'm guessing you had black light posters and Farrah Fawcett on your wall if these are your tapes!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif

These weren't mine but I had a lot of the same ones, I only used 8 tracks about a year before a newfangled state of the art platform came out....the cassette. I get a laugh when people look in the car at a show and exclaim, "check it out an 8 track deck." Thought some members here might want some for the same reason. I am guilty of the black light, and I had Farrah Fawcett and Cheryl Tiegs Posters like every other blue-blooded American kid did then. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif
Buddy Rich was the man! Apparently quite the Ferrari guy, from what I've read. As a teenager, I saw Buddy and his band play at an outdoor venue in nearby Lancaster, PA. As I was wandering around behind the ampitheater minutes before the show, Buddy pulls up in a silver Ferrari coupe. The guy literally got out of his car, walked on stage and starting shredding! Anyway, I did take the opportunity to check out his car. Silver coupe, burgundy leather interior. I noticed that Buddy had a cassette in his 8-track player. Curious to see who Buddy listed to in his car, I looked a little closer. . . Aretha Franklin.
