Been nothing but rain the past few days here in the island and lots of places flooded. See a lot of the mainland got some big snow falls and ice storms,

Hows everyone holding out?

Windy today, chilly mornings. Playing golf in one hour. Rain coming later this week. Can't complain though.

We missed the ice by a fraction in Boston but had plenty of hard rain - had a leak show its ugly face http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif Sunny and cold today!

Just cold and windy here today but nasty stuff coming in tomorrow evening (sleet & freezing rain). Poking the trailer in my son's big shed tomorow morning. Probably won't come out again 'til June.
The dismal part of the year is officially here. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

We lost power at 1 AM on Friday due to ice on everything taking down trees and wires. They say the electricity should be back on at 3 PM Monday. I hope it's before that because diesel fuel is expensive. I'm glad I filled the generator tank and the tractor diesel tank this fall. We should have plenty of fuel until the power comes back on. I feel bad for the guys working to restore the power because I was a chief lineman for the power company. This kind of storm is absolutely no fun. I retired in 2002 and do not miss the storms one bit.
