I could believe that it's perhaps a dealership-made window sticker, but no way could I believe that's from the factory http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

I don't believe that Bill. Always some story on these Nickey cars. Why is the POP from another dealership?

The First day I was there and looked at the Window sticker it was shown in it's full length........showing the final sticker price which was in the $4200 range (Didn't have my camera that day).......as you can see now, they folded the sticker right at the Nickey line.......they must have realized that the $420 A.C. delete was never subtracted.......What a Joke....My SS L-79 Car Stickered for under $3000.........whoever "Made" that window sticker didn't have a "Clue"......Also...Notice how the Delivered Dealer portion of the sticker is conviently missing...
Ken
That window sticker is 100% homemade.
It gives itself away in the first 2",and reading further on down just echoes that.

Now why would the window sticker say "optional" 327 350 engine.? Wouldn't it just list the engine with the engine option code.?

I like the "strategic" cut outs. Just so happens that all the important information is still clearly visible.

Don't the RPO's on a window sticker usually have a number before them, and a two-letter code after? What year did that start?
Some RPO descriptions don't read right.
Font of printing looks wrong.
Looks typed on a typewriter instead of printed.

Documentation, documentation, documentation.
I guess it doesn't have to be real, authentic documentation.
On another note, how about the owner of that Porsche that followed this Nova! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
Hijack over.

Wrong font
Incorrectly worded
Characters in the RPO column are missing.
15 inch tires never made it onto the 1966 Chevy II nova.
That display of documentation is embarrassing!

Many yrs ago this Nova was advertised in Nova Times for 25K. It was located in Buffalo and had a Cliff Peck sticker in the pass rear window next to the Nickey sticker. It also had small Nickey stickers on the hood & deck lid. I have a pic of the window sticker, from when I looked at it, & it was white(same vin#). The seller caimed it to be 1 of 56 built and it was discused on this forum a while back. It did not have an L79 ZI block back then.
It's not unusual for us to see cars to morph into 'the real deal' if it's promoted in the right venue http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

The West Seneca, NY owner had a sign that touted the car as follows...
"Prototype of Bill Jenkins First Factory $$$ sponored Drag Car GRUMPY'S TOY. When Jenkins refused to run a big block in his Nova in 1967, Chevrolet switched to Yenco for the Chevelle, Nova and Camaro factory sponsorship." The sign also claimed "NHRA A/Stock Eliminator 1966-67"
And yes, he spelled Yenko wrong http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif

I think the car could have stood on it's own without the B.S. Hype............But.........Anyone have any Idea what the Nickey Performace package should or would have included for $495 of 1966 money??
