Thanks so much for posting, I love to read these old stories. I can only speak for me, but please keep making these available to us young'uns who love to learn from the history we did not get to live.

[/ QUOTE ]Here is (was?) a dead ringer for it. Mine is almost identical (400 HO/auto).

she's a little rough...however.
I have the original motor: Heads, Intake, Carb, Dist, and Exhaust Manifolds(one cracked).
also...Tranny and torque converter are the original
also have the dash cluster (38000)and console with His/Hers shifter and the power antenna.

The quick story:
The car was stripped years ago and sent to a junkyard...A friend of mine bought the car for what it was a 67 GTO....he ends up at a guys house to look at a trunk lid for my 68'...the guy also has a 67' HO (My friends old one!) and even has a spare motor. When asked where he found another 67' HO Motor. He said,"I stripped one years ago and threw the car in a Junkyard".My Friend, now in shock, said,"Was it by any chance White with a Black vynil top?".After some Laughs and a little dealing the car and its parts are back together.I bought the package and shelfed it.But I have to many projects so I'm selling this one.

sold as whole package only I will not seperate!!

I had 1 67 white/black HO...gave it away in 1980. I think the guy still has it.

I still have the 4.33 numbered untouched rear end and calipers stored away someplace...

Car had disc brakes, RA exhaust manifolds..

The his & hers, AM/FM, and Rallys [rotated with Hurst wheels] still have, on my 66 GTO and of course the 4:33s...

really rotted..

I had 1 67 white/black HO...

[/ QUOTE ]Would you happen to know the VIN still?

There weren't that many HO/autos built (~4000) but it would need to be an early build...
