I think it's the concours restored class at the Camaro Nationals? One of the guys in our local club also inquired about it. Maybe in PA? American Camaro Association. Google them.

This is from there website.

Legend Class

1967-1981

Class 53-54

As this restored class goes into detail beyond the scope of many participants, Camaros entering this class must be qualified by previous participation in class 57/58 L (Bow Tie), or by inspection by one of the concurs judges prior to entry. This requirement is in place to save expense and time of those not familiar with this system, and to prevent assigning the limited number of Legend spaces to unqualified cars, thus preventing qualified cars from participating. Obviously matching numbers are required on all marked components. This is an extremely thorough system; all parts will be evaluated as to correctness, originality, finish, and condition. Cars must achieve a minimum score to continue in the system the following year; and must achieve a score of 96% within three years to 'graduate' and achieve Heritage status. If a car achieves a score of 98% prior to the third year, it automatically achieves the "Top Flight Award" with Heritage status and does not need to return for additional judging. If interested in this class, contact A.C.A. as soon as possible. Space is limited to returning Camaros plus a limited number of new entries. Accepted entrants may request a copy of the scoring sheet to assist in final preparation of the car.

Be sure to complete and submit a pre-qualification form along with your pre-registration form if you are a first time Concours applicant.

53 67-69 Restored Concours
54 70-81 Restored Concours

Steve Shauger is the best contact for that. He had seen photos and heard a little about my 69 RS/Z and invited us to the Camaro Nationals in Pittsburg a couple of years ago. Needless to say, we had a great time and road trip. He and many others judged my car for hours and hours and gave me several pages of what they observed. It was great fun and I came away with what I feel is excellent documentation on my car. I really appreciated the opportunity to show my car and hopefully will be able to attend again one day. Thanks Steve and others!
I believe they have several different classes depending on the condition and/or restoration of the particular car. I saw cars that were all original to fully restored being judged. It was a great experience, and if you buy any car that has been judged by these guys, you cant go wrong IMHO. My car is for sale currently if anyone would like info http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

I attended a few years ago, best Camaro event that I've been to. Very organized and hundreds of nice cars, many classes too.

Charley's bringing a little old small block 70 camaro, I think your 1969 LB big block would be a perfect fit for the Vintage class as well... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif We may even have another 1969 LB one of only 69 built there as well http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Are you speaking about his 70 Z,cause I thought he hinted earlier he wasn't?
Or is this a different show? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif

FG-SIMPLY AWESOME!... Are you going to be taking it to the Camaro Nats in June?

CL-Probably not.Too much to ship it back and forth.I will probably attempt to have it at whatever show Ashton puts on in Chicago in November.I can then get Norman and his brothers there with the car also.

Maybe http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif, sometimes it's better to ignore his rambling.
