Not sure where this part came from off the 69 granny car..I think it was an interior piece behind a door panel or back 1/4 window...can't remember...any one know..??
it's about 5" wide by 2" deep...

Its part of the zipper mechanism (lock out) for one of your cars sleeping bags! Have to re-tuck them in Tommy! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Tom,
What's the material? Kinda looks like closed cell foam.

No, I was just asking what the piece is made of. Rubber, foam, heavy paper (like cardboard)? I can't tell from the photo and I thought it might help someone identify what it might be. Did I miss something? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
I'm not kidding; I'm just stupid! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

OK, Pop http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif....the part is made from a thin gauge steel. There are 2 holes, the smaller has fingers that extend back about 1/2"..perhaps to fit into something ???? I thought you were referring to the background behind the part...it was laying on a piece of paper towel for the photo.

All kidding aside I have never seen a part like that from a nova. I think it's a stamped out left over part to a car,but got left in the car some how. It doesn't belong on the car.
I knew this topic would soon turn subliminally political. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
