I can see the Z28 Bodykit, blue Leather Trim and the RS Wheels, but is that a real Z28? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Have a 305ci with Crossfire-Injection (LU5).

What do you think about it?

Owned by an U.S.-Guy (Army) here in Germany, than sell to the current Owner. Located in Augsburg, Bayern.

Looks like a Z-28 to me. RPO LU-5 was only avail in a Z.

Check the hood for functional air induction. Doors should lift up together try them with your finger.

Fiberglass hood or steel? Glass hood is early and Steel hood is late production.

Also check to see if you can find any trace of clear headlite covers. That would make that car a Z-28-E where the "E" stood for the export only model a rare car today.

BTW...LG-4 was a Carb fed 305 and the air induction doors were fastened shut and non functional.

The Hood Air induction are functional and itīs Fiberglass.
But the original Air Filter are not mount. They does not exist. The current owner has built a Filter by himself... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

NAPA here in the US has the air filters, and I have noticed them on E-bay also. Not that hard to find, they need them for the Cross-Fire equipped Corvettes too

Keep in mind that GM Canada Vintage services ended up w/ the files for many of the '77 and up F-bodys regardless of where built and shipped to new..
For all it costs, it may be worth hooking up w/ Geo. and the boys to see if you can document the car's original pedigree?.

Good luck!.
