Saw this on the freeway this morning. Looked like a little surface rust under the vinyl top trim but otherwise straight and clean. 327 emblems. Yes, it was raining lightly and within another mile it was pouring!

That looks like some SERIOUS big blue hair freshly coiffed from the beauty parlor. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif She's probably the original owner(caps are a testament to that 90% of the time), there are a few still running around L.A. like that one. Hard to imagine they are forty year owners! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

I miss the days (summers in the early 90's) when my SS was my Daily. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

The day we moved my daughter into her current home I made a trip from the house out to my trailer for another arm load of stuff. Just as I stepped off the porch a sweet little Glacier Blue '69 Camaro drove past her house. Of course I stopped cold and just stared at it. The lady driving it pulled into the driveway three doors down the street and right into the garage. It's still there and I keep a close eye on it. Probably a six banger. VERY plain car, but clean and straight. My daughter talks with her from time to time and has yet to ask about the car. I'm curious to hear the story.

What is her current address? Ann and I thought we could pay her a visit since we haven't seen her since X-mas time.............http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Easy to spot. It's the house with the campaign sign in the yard. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

No kidding, there is an old lady in a neighboring town that drives a twin to that car with hub caps and all. It may be a 307 car though.

This car is from Maple Ridge B.C. My friend bought this from an original owner here and I drove this car down to the swap meet for him in Pyallup about 6 years ago where a lady bought this from him for her son for $6000.00 Plain Jane , no rust, except some small bubbles around the vinyl top, great shape PTB everything there, Still KICKING my butt that I didn't buy it myself!!
That's the story

You're talking about the red one in my photo, right Ken? When I saw it I just flipped. I would love a 327 '69, no spoilers, no nuthin', just plain-Jane coolness.

There was another '69 running around here a few years ago that was Hugger Orange, black top and houndstooth, 307/4-speed (yes, 4-speed with stock shifter), PO1 covers and whitewalls with snow treads in back, no spoilers, unrestored. I got a good look at it once in the supermarket parking lot but haven't seen it in several years. I'd love one like the red/black one in my photo!
