Up for sale is my "Prized", only 1 known to exist 1972 Yenko Vega Wagon. The car is a four (4) speed 4 barrel rotisserie restored car. The car had it's one and only debut at Chevy Vettefest in November 2006. The car has never been driven except on and off the trailer and has been maintained in a climate controlled environment since completion. The car's engine is built to maximum specs for a 4 cylinder and has an original "Yenko" head furnished by Brian Henderson. The car has a header pipe to allow this monster to breathe. The car has chambered exhaust and sounds like a "Bumblebee" on steroids. The car has 3:31 geared rearend and "Yenko" installed traction bars to help this monster hook up. I am pricing the car with or without a "Brand New" Schwitzer turbocharger with all of the necessary hardware to install. How do you price a car that has no comps, fairly. I am selling the car for $110,000 without the turbo and $115,000 with the Turbo not installed. I am pricing this car to sell and will accept any "Reasonable" offer to purchase. I prefer not to respond to emails and will accept calls at 336 215 0876, ask for Kevin. I appreciate this site for allowing me to make this truly rare and desirable car for sale. The car is not being offerd anywhere else for sale, i think it belongs in a Yenko collector's garage. It would make the perfect bookend to any Yenko collection.

If known, what is the history on the car?

"Kevin emailed me and asked me to post these...they are a bit blurry"

I don't believe it. Bruce took a pic that is blurry. Makes me feel better about the 70% blurry ratio I have going.

Sorry to hijack your thread. Great looking car. And seriously, thanks to Bruce for all the great pics and other contributions to this site.

The car was originally located in Texas. The car was owned by Bill Ogle before me. I restored the car. I have all the doc's from Ed Cuneen, Copo Connection. It was at some point in it's life either dealer transferred to Galles Chevrolet in Albuquerque, New Mexico and sold as new or traded into them as a used car.
I have a lot of the original sheet metal, door, fender, Rear hatch and many other components for the car. I have the paperwork at work if you are interested. I applaud Ricy Smith for taking on the car when restored, not many people will take on a Vega Wagon. He does all his work in house,he farms nothing out, sublets nothing, and his brother did the engine. He did a remarkable job not to have anything to compare it to other than 2 Vega parts cars to rob them of parts. You should have seen this thing when we got it. The car was featured in Hemmings Muscle Machines, February 2005, photo's were shot by Geoff Stunkard.

No it did not, i'm glad it didn't, it would look a little too mom and popish.

I have moved a few other cars and have decided to lower the price on the Yenko Vega Wagon. I am certainly trying to price it at fair market value, whatever that is right now. I will sell it for $80,000 without Schwitzer Turbo and $85,000.00 with Schwitzer Turbo. The car is a 4 speed and has an "ORIGINAL YENKO HEAD" furnished by Brian H. The head has been tweaked for high performance. 336 215 0876, Kevin

I have been fortunate to have had some things turn around and the 72 Yenko Vega Wagon is no longer available for sale and is staying in North Carolina.
