Hi,

looking for a friend. He has importet the Caprice this Year and the Lightbar was crashed.

Heīs also looking for

- inside door handles back doors
- complete carpet

Maybe anyone have a good tip?

as an FYI, the rear seat handles are NOT installed on the police cars intentionally, they didn't want the bad guys opening the doors

the rubber floor mat was also standard issue on these cars, not carpet ...

Carpet can be bought anywhere, JC Whitney has one of the best prices and the stuff is actually pretty good

On the light bar- that would be a federal Signal "Areodynic" F/S Still makes replacement parts, so just do a search on Google. If it is just the domes then you can order those new. If it is the whole assembly then those pop up on E-bay and are typically the ones used on tow trucks and wrecker flat beds.

Tell your friend no problem.

When was this car last in service? I have been looking for this style Caprice ex police for a long time and there are none left!

Just out of my curiosity. Was that car originally used in Bedford NY or a different Bedford?

The Car was used in the City of Bakersfield, California.
There was the first Owner!

After this the Car cames to the Film Studios in L.A.

Not to crash this thread but I need a double bubble red light bar with center siren gutter mount stainless hoop Federal or other for my 70 and 71 Impala police cars. Any help is appreciated.
