My boys absconded with both cameras, but I was determined to cover the Pavillions. Headed up there with Ed (enio45) and saw the usual crew, Fred K., Don B., Mark A., Fred M., and also visited with the dude from 'sconsin and Cana. Absolutely perfect afternoon and evening weather. Great turn out.
P.S. Enjoy your Sunday a.m., M22Mike! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

And finally, some new blood I hadn't seen before. Not a Caprice fan but this car was terrific. 41,000 mile original paint survivor with a 396, TH400, and 12 bolt that was in stunning shape w/ AACA 1st place judging. The interior was beautiful with perfect upholstery. Nice docs on the car. For sale too. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Thanks for the pics! I was seriously considering that 71 Nova with the 435 in it. The gentleman who built the car was super nice, unfortunately we were just too far apart to make a deal. It really is a sweet cruise night car though.

Yes it does. That was one of my few issues with the car. It has the stock 10 bolt 3.08. If I had bought the car I would have taken out the A/C and put a 3.73 or 4.11 12 bolt in it. It didn't make sense to me that they built the whole car and from the picture I have seen did a nice job, but never upgraded the rear. I believe he told me the L-71, and M21 came out of his 67 Corvette that was totaled back in the day.
