Since I was having a tough time finding some tow tabs for my two daughters cars (one has a Camaro and the other a Nova), I ended up making some copies of original NMW units.
I'm gonna make another run of these, but it is not something I plan on producing all of the time. This may be a one-time deal or maybe an annual thing based upon interest.
I'm offering either pair of silver tabs pictured below for $150 plus shipping. I can ship via USPS in a flat rate box to anywhere in the US for $10. If you require other shipping options, we can discuss them. Contact me for paypal or other payment options.
Tabs are available unfinished or powdercoated silver. Since this is a one-run deal, I can include the silver powdercoating in the $150.
Here is an original Nova set in black and the copied ones in silver.

Here is a coped set of Camaro ones.

Here's a pic of both the Camaro and Nova tabs.

Here is a pic of the original Nova ones in the center and some of the unfinished (non-powdercoated) ones on the side.

Those look Great Paul, I hopped in the Nova a few minutes ago and headed up to the Post Office to see if mine had made it back home yet and as usual they were all on an hour and a half lunch and I missed them by 2 minutes.... And of course the little yellow "sorry we missed you" note was in my box.... That means I get to ride back up there later today in the Nova again http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif.

As an old machinist and fabricator myself, it really looks like you you did an outstanding job on them. The thing about duplicating things like this are during the process, it's really easy to see things that can be "improven" upon and changes are made. It looks like you stayed faithful to the originals!

I have 3 tow bars. Let me know what width they are when mounted. I will sell at least 2 of them and maybe all 3 if anyone is interested.

Tripped over this in Southern NJ, at the Cowtown flea market and car show.

Here is the big picture with the bar. Included the pins and all. No tabs to be found, but this was still neat to find.

Working on finishing up the run of tabs, but this thing was worth bumping the thread!

If you want to utilize the rear mounting points, you will have to drill your subframe, if not, you can attach the front mounting holes at the bumper and leave the rear mounting points alone/hanging, but don't tow that car, or you will severly tweak the front bumper

The Nova's are at the top and the Camaro's at the bottom.
Thanks Plowman.

Hello all,
Looking for 70 chevelle tow tabs for my "new" old school chevelle project and came across this thread.
Plowman, interested in fabbing a set? I have a pair for dimensions if needed.
Thanks, Glenn
