GM ZL-1 all aluminum 427 block. Only removed from the crate to take these pictures. The casting # on this block is 3946053. GM P/N: 12370850. ZL-1 block # 1A7037.
This is a new block still in its original crate with its original packing and paper work. Comes with the correct check valve and fitting to run a standard big block oil filter.

My block is 1c1 # 16 That looks like 1a7 # 37. I don't remember a tag on the back of it showing the block #. I just wonder how many of these block Chevy built.

That sure is a pretty hunk of aluminum! Almost too pretty to use as much as I hate to say that.
