I have recently purchased a very original Camaro with mint original Yellow Houndstooh interior. The problem is the front drivers seat is showing a little wear on the Houndstooth and need to be inserted to match the rest of the interior. I have be told there is some nos material avaliable? Can someone tell me where to find it. Thanks Tony

------I dont know about NOS, but Al Knoch makes absolutely killer houndstooth seatcovers and would probably sell you the houndstooth material as well. Call them and have them send you a swatch to see how they match.......Bill S

I know for a fact all the nos White and Orange is gone not sure on the Yellow Give them a try might be able to get you in a direction. I do know the repop stuff is not quite the same so on a repair it will not match.

------Jeffery,,,I believe that theres more than one reproduction of this fabric so probably good not to lump them all together. Getting a swatch as I stated will answer the question though........Bill S

I wasn't trying to put any vender down on quality of their product, but as most repop stuff goes the material seems to fit in the same category from what I have found. I was in some need of Orange a couple years ago and called every vendor I could find to get a sample for a repair, (I had purchsed a kit and was way off) so I decided to repair my seats instead, I could only get a couple vendors to send me a sample seems most did not have one the retailers on the kits were not the actual mfg of the product, The two I recieved one was way off shape and color, one was close but the wt of material was way off, the OG stuff is quite heavy. at that time I found that SMC had a large supply of nos material and purchased quite a bit of the orange. I was not trying to put any one vendor down or all in one catagory, just first hand experience, and I think your correct a sample is a wise choice first.
