Can't believe the bears actually made a big trade.

I almost fell over when I heard the news! The Bears finally have a pro bowl QB!
They got a good one in this young man IMO.

IMO this trade is going to go down in history as one of the biggest steals ever made.
The kid is a beast, and he's by far the best QB the bears have ever had since I've been alive.
Also, the Bears rarely get a decent player with their first round pics, mostly just bums(Cedric Benson,Michael Haynes,Rex Grossman,Marc Colombo,David Terrell,Cade McNown,Curtis Enis ect) so they basically gave up nothing.
Now we're cooking with Gas.
You listening Green Bay? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Received this as part of an e-mail this morning from a friend in the Denver area...
MISSING AMBER ALERT: Jay Cutler
If you see this man…contact your local authorities.
http://usera.ImageCave.com/lzdick/cutler.jpg
Little Jay Cutler wandered off from camp on 03-16-09 after he felt that he was picked on by the other kids as well as camp leaders.
If you have any information leading to the whereabouts of little Jay, please inform authorities immediately.
Do not approach Little Jay, as he may frighten easily, or begin to kick and scream
and may hyperventilate while crying.

I think its a great deal. He only is due 1million dollars this year and 4 million dollar roster bonus next. They will have money to get a decent receiver--Like Torry Holt. Man I hope this works out. First pro bowl qp since Mc mahon!!!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Excuse me, but didn't the Bears hire Marinello after the lions fired him, to be their defensive coordinator?
This is a guy who went 0 for 16 and had the 32nd ranked defense in a league with 32 teams. What were they thinking, that offense alone can win games? I think the Lions proved that theory might have some flaws in it. JMO http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

True but as a d-line coach he is good. He was the d-line coach for the tampa bay buc's for 10 years and coached Sapp and others. They led the leauge in sacks in many of those years. Granted we may not have that kind of talent, but we do have Tommie Harris who is a top d-line man when healthy and Alex Brown is not to shabby. So as a head coach Marinelli stinks, but as a d-line coach he has a great track record.

Was there anything wrong with Kyle Orton? I mean seriously, I know he's not a Brady or Manning, but we're talking about the Bears here! The Bears are NOT a passing team, so having a QB with a gun for an arm ain't gonna buy us much. Don't get me wrong, it would be nice to have a Pro Bowl QB, but not at the cost of this deal. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif
