I was talking to a few guys at work the other day about Front St. One guy remembers a car with Emerald City painted on the trunk lid. Does anyone have a picture of this car, or remember it? I was interested in seeing what it was and what it looked like.

Thanks,

Nova Jed

I have pictures of the car and knew the owner but I cant put up the pics unless I was to speak to the family. They might want to keep them private.

It was a green 69 Camaro. The owner later died in his 34 Ford street rod coming home from a cruise night in Feasterville. The car was quite famous around here

With or Witout !!! is the question , You would have to be there to understand !!! A buddy of mine had a shop right there as well . You should experience backing a car trailer into one of those shops in those narrow streets !!!!!

If my memory serves me right, his name was Tony and he was a rather large man. I was told that he had a lot of money in that car, back in the day. Like I said before, I was just intrested in seeing what it looked like. Heard it was really cool!

With Dyngus Day coming up shortly, South Bend will have plenty of kielbasa and politicians out on the west side for sure. Dyngus day just might be a "detour" off of my diet, but just for a day or two. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
