We had around 150 kids for the Easter egg hunt, sponsored by the city of Donahue park, and rec dept, American Legion ladies auxilary, and various businesses.
The Easter bunny may have been in the Bud lite before he "hopped"in. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
Heck, you should be here at Christmas time. Mr. and Mrs. Claus arrive in the fire dept. rescue with lights, and siren. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

For those who haven't had the pleasure of a visit to Donahue, it's a cool town with a very nice Community Park. The Mayor and city leaders do a Great job there.
Congrats Mr. Mayor. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

Ah Donahue, Iowa! Take a trip back into time! A serene life style! Looks to me to be about April 1970 or so in the pictures. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

i just returned from donahue this afternoon..........the mayor and i had a nice conversation that turned into a bit of a discussion about which Deuce was faster.....the yellow one or the freshly restored blue one of Sams.....i said sams and obviously ken said his....soooooo, i jumped into the blue one and ken uncovered his. we head out onto the 2 lane and go at it ......unfortunatley the yellow car was ahead but i was gaining fast when all of a sudden there is a cop.....sure enough he nabs me. obviously he knows of the mayors car so im sure he didnt look twice. since i couldnt prove ownership, the car was impounded and i had to sit in the clink until the owners were notified......the police had to call the Roof's to come claim their car(because its still in their name) for the impound fee(of $1000) which they gladly said they would pay. so sorry to Sam for losing to the mayor but i was gaining on him.... maybe i can use sams chevelle next time !!
hey!!! it could've happened !
Sam, by the way, the car looks even better in person ! Schoenthaler Restorations did a fantastic job !! i was definetly in "deuce Heaven" http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

Well...I asked him that, and he said he was a Republican until Dick Cheney tried to shoot him, then had him waterboarded until he told him where he hid the eggs. So now he's living in IA. with his new partner, Bob the bunny, over by the rainbow barn. Hey...it's IA. They can do that. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I see the state of Iowa "NOT MY STATE ANYMORE" is going to put up signs when you cross the state line. I heard they will now read.
"Welcome to Iowa "
You can marry a fag here
But you can't smoke one.
