I am trying to find a needle in a haystack. Does anyone know where to find parts for an old Graco workbench. Thanks, Dustin.

Can I ask where you found parts for it? My wife's grandpa had the side cabinets and I just sand blasted them. I just discovered what they were via google and would love to restore to OEM, but they are missing the trim on the doors...
Thanks!

A buddy had a bench that was missing parts but had the trim I needed. He wanted a gas pump I had so we traded.
What kinda gas pump? <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif
....meaning Mfr. & oil brand.

That is one killer workstation!
A few years back they were tearing down an old Chrysler Plymouth dealer in town. It had sat vacant for years and was finally being demolished. A friend and I stopped in to see what we could "recycle" and there was a whole wall of these workstaions left behind. In fact, almost everything in the dealer was left behind. We took what we could. I was pi$$ed I couldn't get at least one bench out. The roof was down on most of them. Thinking about it still sucks... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/mad.gif

Yeah, tell me about it. All I have are the two outer cabinets and the relatives don't ever remember Gramps having the middle bench portion. Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky and be able to complete it at some point, but the two cabinets stuck together are pretty cool by themselves. I'm not sure the rocket even belongs on this, but I'm working with Graco to find out.

Here is a picture of me working at the local small town Chevy dealership in 1969. Note the Alemite work cabinets in the picture and my C/altered Henry J that I was prepping for the weekend races in Lawrence Kansas.

This picture is of the same Alemite cabinet in my shop a couple of years ago.

This is that old C/Altered I bought back after about 30 years of a local guy owning it. It is awaiting its restoration.

Here are a couple of pictures of what it was. After the Rally Green was introduced in 1968 I knew what color it would be.

And the Hilborn injected 301. That little motor and the 5.38 1/8 mile gears would stand it on its rear bumper if everything was right.

Bad news....Clint is going home with hospice care because theres no sound treatment for him. They took him off the monitors and meds..looks like cancer claimed another one of the good ones...i dont know much else..its heartbreaking for his family and kills me to know this.
I asked his daughter how much time he had and they really dont know..he is in and out of reality...
