One of approx. 8 C.O.P.O. Camaro’s sold by Central Chev Olds in London Ontario during 1969.

Fully documented Hugger Orange C.O.P.O. Camaro by General Motors of Canada through their Vintage Division.

Original numbers matching 427/425 HP engine and Turbo 400 transmission. This COPO is one of a very few restored Camaro’s that still remains a standard bore block, dynoed at 461 HP and 476 Ft Lbs of torque.

Full frame-off restoration completed in the fall of 2008. The car has never been driven since its completion.

Complete history and testimonials of most previous owners, including the original salesman from Central Chev Olds in 1969.

It was judged by Bob Harris of Camaro Specialties (East Aurora, NY) which resulted in a score of 996 points out of 1000. Bob Harris is one of a few judges who are requested to judge yearly at the GM All Nationals in Carlisle Pa in the First Generation Camaro Class.

The Camaro recently attended the 2009 Performance World car show in Toronto Ontario and competed against 400 plus cars, which included rods to fully restored cars. There it won…..Best Paint…..Best Restored…..and Top Ten Car award.

This C.O.P.O. has a very desirable color combination, Hugger Orange exterior and a black interior. The presence of this Camaro is very strong.

For some reason I really love seeing cars with the old dealer emblem on the tail panel. Looks killer Paul.... Can I have it ?

Are those scratches on the drivers side of trunklid or just some wax buildup?

This car looks even better in person.

I spent some time with Paul at Performance World in Toronto last month and he showed me his big collection of history and docs that he has accumulated. Very impressive indeed!

The history of this car and how it ended up the way it is now is amazing.

I have known Paul for probably 30 years going back to when we worked together in Brantford and can tell everyone that he is a true purist and perfectionist at what ever he does. Great looking COPO Paul as I knew it would be. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Back in the day none of us wanted the dealer emblems on our cars, especially the ones, with holes drilled in the body, that were bolted on. Today people scramble to find them. They do add a neat touch now. Anyone have a spare Beare Motors emblem, or possibly one from Holland Motors? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yep. They've joined the world of original wheels and smog.

Paul is too modest to say but the car won Best Paint, Best Restored and was awarded Top Ten Best Cars at this years Performance World.
