This Texas cuda has been off the road since 1979 and needs a mechanical rebuild to get it back on the road. The matching numbers motor was pulled, disassembled and stored indoors. Original automatic tranny is still intact. The car has very solid rust-free floors, frame rails, fenders, doors and rockers, but has rust around the rear window which let to a rusted out trunk pan and right lower quarter as seen in the photo (both trunk drop-offs are still mint).

The cuda is documented by the original fender tag and buildsheet (which is still intact and has not been removed from under the rear seat). The Fender Tag decodes as follows:
E55 340 - 4 Barrel (6 - Barrel w/ A53 Code)
D32 H-D A-727 TorqueFlite Trans / Some Years A-998

The current mileage is 92,454.8 miles, and the limelight green paint is still the original factory paint.

I had planned on preserving it as a survivor and making it into a presentable driver. I hadn’t considered selling it until I got interested in Bob’s black 71 cuda. As long as Bob’s cuda is still available, I would be prepared to sell mine for $18,500.00 obo.

That's a really nice car at an even better price.

This car is missing its front bumper, road lamps, 340 air cleaner, radiator, and no doubt will need lots of clips and brackets under the hood, etc. Since this is my first Mopar ever, my left-over GM parts aren't going to help me put this car together! I've got too much on my plate already, so I'm considering selling this to buy Bob's car which is more intact. If I end up keeping this car... any help rounding up the driver-quality parts to put this car together would be appreciated.

Having a weakness for unique, hard-to-find original-paint cars... I bought this car on impulse. As I mentioned, this car is a matching numbers 340 cuda. The car is currently stored in Utah.

I have too much on my plate, so I'm prepared to sell for a reasonable offer or consider a trade +/- cash for a comparable survivor in driver condition.

Bump...
I'll leave this car posted for a few more days, but I'm making arrangements to ship it north across the border and adding it to my "retirement project" list. Hopefully I'll get it on the road sooner than that. Once it moves from its current SW USA location, it will no longer be for sale.

Price reduced to $15,000 obo... while I'm motivated.
