Hello,

I had the glass fly out of another door mirror on the daily driver Nova the other day.

Since I need one for the L78, I am planning to have a few more 1968 - 1970 technically correct non bowtie rearview door mirrors made.

These mirrors are good quality and have the snap ring holding in the glass. They can be date coded if desired.

I am willing to run a group buy if there is interest. Will also post this at stevesnovasite.com for maximum volume.

What do you think?

Very Cool, I will let this perk for a day or two. Once I have good numbers I can go the next step.

Quick update:

I am moving forward. Looks like there will be a delay in getting all of the parts lined up.

Hello,

I picked this back up recently and think I have the supply problems solved. I just ordered 4 but they came in with a Bowtie on the back. Will be 3-4 weeks before next shipment of parts is ready for the plain backed version.

Does anyone need the accessory version for the passenger door?

With that in mind the price will be $125 each plus shipping. $10 of the price will go to this site.

Again this is for the technically correct plain backed outside rear view mirror with the flat snap ring holding the glass in place with the date code of your choice on the glass. Made in USA.

What I need to know is who is still interested and what date codes?

Hey L78Steve;

Date Code?

Format is M - DMI - Y

Where
M = Month mirror was assembled
DMI = Manufacturer (all the same for Novas so far)
Y = Year mirror was assembled

Take this from the original or follow the usual rules of zero to three months prior to the Nova assembly date.

Hello Tony,

Very cool I will put you down. I am waiting on the plain backs to arrive. I found a home for one of the Boxtie backs, but just sent the rest back.

Let me know if you need rivets quickly and I can get them out to you first.

Hi Greg. Sure, please send out 4 rivets and install tool first. I tried to p. m. my info, but you have exceeded your limits. Let me know about payment for items including mirror. Thanks Tony [email protected]
