There is a local TV commmercial for Glockner Chevrolet in Portsmouth, OH that shows some pictures of dealership in past years. There is one from 1969 with about 6 Camaros sitting in the front of a very modern 1969 dealership. I paused the TV to examine the picture and some of them are possibly Copo's. I remember looking at a '74 Z/28 years ago in that area and we were talking with the owner about '69 427's and he said he bought one new and still had it along with a couple of others. He said they had several and he drove them all and picked this Burgandy automatic car as it felt the "fastest". Guy had 3 cars squirreled away tightly in a small building and claimed them to be "factory 427 cars". One had a glass 427 hood and he claimed it was possibly a "Motion" and he had contacted Rosen and had a letter stating at the time it could not be identified but would he be interested in selling it. This was in late '70's or early 80's and we were just learning about these cars. Maybe was just one of the tall tales that happen or maybe?? I'm trying to obtain a copy of the picture and hope cars can be id'd. Hopefully it will be a cool find and if there are any Glockner cars out there they might be in this picture.

There are certainly a few of the Glockner Copo cars that made it. There was a burgundy Copo sold at Glockner on Ebay 5 years ago.

A friend on mine is restoring a Dusk Blue X11 COPO that
came from Glockner. Trim tag is one number away from the
Glockner COPO in Jerry McNeish's book. I believe there is another car that is within a number or two of these cars.

We have talked to several people that saw COPO's sitting
on Glockner's lot back in the day.

Could be my friend's car behind the column in the above picture???

Glockner sold 10 COPO Camaros, and I have been told that several of them were consecutively numbered.
