I liked this Motor Trend Comparison. It seemed to be pretty unbiased. The best part about it, they compare the cars by price and they are all within $3k of each other. Basically dollar for dollar.

I enjoyed this too, but they used the less sport oriented 376 hp RT Challenger vs. the 426 hp Camaro and then complained that the Challenger's suspension was soft and it did not have the prowess of the Camaro in the twisties. I would really like to see a 1 v. 1 comparison of the 6 speed manual SS and SRT! Now that is a show down! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
BTW: I was impressed with the 'stang's performance with considerably less hp (and weight) and a solid axle!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Sam, I agree, that the Mustang and Challenger are down on HP. But again, I must stress, this test was for cars that are very close in price, roughly $3000 difference.
The reason they didn't compare Camaro to the SRT8 is because of the price difference. The most expensive SS model has an MSRP of roughly $33,000. The Mustang premiun coupe is about $30,000 and the R/T is also about $30,000. Step up to the SRT8 and you're at minimum $40,000. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Kurt - i did not pick up that the article was more $ oriented. Read it (didn't read it http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif) too fast....................
Thanks! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
