Guys,
I bought these 5 rims thinking they were for a 69 or 70 chevelle or camaro (SS rim).
After bead blasting I found some stampings on the outer inside lip. The numbers are as follows:
3 say: MI 6 2 4 "ford logo" HG
1 says: MI 6 3 18 "ford logo" HG
1 says: MI 6 _ 17 "ford logo" HG
I'd appreciate any help identifying these rims as far as model year and car they would have been used on.
I have pics but can't post them.
thanks,
Jim

I almost got stung on a pair of those. I picked them up at a local tire store and asked what he wanted for them. He said I could have them but that I wouldn't be happy if I tried to put them on my Chevelle. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Seems like he told me they came from a Fairlane/Torino? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I got them fairly cheap. Just want to identify them and put them up for sale.

I know nothing of Ford wheel codes but if they're 4.5x5 pattern, many Mopar and AMC products have the same pattern...check center hub, offset and caliper clearances etc to be sure they'll fit specific applications..
May make a great pair for single axle trailer too!.

Many of the Ford wheels were chromed as shown in the above pic, Mustang included, but a few (can't recall what application) were painted like the Chevy versions.

These don't look like they ever had any chrome on them.

http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif My mistake. I'll try to blame it on a poor monitor. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
Those are the same wheels I almost bought.
