Am looking for good photos of vintage (early 70s) Cherry Bomb decals. Do they differ from current design? I am looking for the decal that would have been specifically placed on the glass pack muffler. My old ones have an approx. 2" x 6" long decal that is severely faded. I can not make out the design. Below is a decal that the company now offers (which is not the shape of my faded decals).

Thanks!

Here is a close up of what's left of the original sticker...

You can just make out "C H E R R Y B O M B" in the body of the sticker.

Still looking for a good photo or example of the original "cherry bomb" decal (see above). I've started the resto of the Roof's day two exhaust. Dan (MosportGreen66) suggested using the Safest Rust Removal for my exhaust as he has had good success restoring exhaust with it. And of course Steve (NJSteve) has had good results with it too! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Any help is mucho appreciated! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Appreciate it Linda. When you and Earl get reunited with the Deuce it will surely be a multisensorial event... visually : restored back to new (thanks to Schonye and Co. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif) with a LARGE dose of day-two, olfactory : the smell of burning Sunoco 110 high octane leaded fuel, auditorally : the deep tone rumble of the LT1 breathing in thru the Holley and out thru the Cherry Bombs !
