Where is the best and most economical place to purchase E70-15 goodyear polyglass tires. I hear Kelsey still has the molds for them is that true. Thanks.

The tires from Kelsey are being made from original molds. If you are getting Goodyears, they are coming from Kelsey. If you are interested in E70's (I assume that it is for a Z, but they also have 2 E 70's for Shelbys) please contact me. I am able to purchase tires from Kelsey and sell them at a reduced rate. I have helped several members out in getting rubber fro their ride. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

For the ones who are interested, I have great news on the L60's. The first trial tires came out of the molds late last week. John is very happy with the early news coming from production about the results. Right now, everything is running on the right track. Estimated time of arrival on the market place is July- August time frame. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Rusty, What do you think would be the chance of them doing E70-14 Goodyear Speedway Widetread redlines. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

If you are putting Polyglas on a 69 Z you are using the wrong tire. you would need the Goodyear Wide Tread GT...not Polyglas.

Charlie,
I would make sure that he got the right tire!!! The tires that are produced in that size are the Speedway Wide Tread GT for the '68-'69 Z, and the Speeedway 350 in two variations depending on which Shelby you have!!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Hello, they are for a 68 Z/28. Thanks, Larry.

The spare tire for this 68 z/28 is an E70-15 custom wide tread white stripe. It also says polyglas. The letters are outlines only. Has a code of TS01161. Could this be a replacement possibly manufactured in 1971? I've owned this car since 1976, but I'm the ninth owner. Thanks, Joe

The only OE tire known at this time for a '68 Z/28 is the Goodyear E70 x 15 WTGT. Your spare is not original.
