Jim, great paperwork. I've taken the liberty of posting a link to this thread on the NCRS bulletin board.

The car is still around. I have talked to the owner that sold it 10 years ago. I'm trying to get a more current owner. We'll find it!

The POP pictured reads as a Nassau Blue coupe with a 300 hp 327 . A different car than was being priced . The quote from Luckey,Ohio is from a small dealership about 5 miles from me that closed in the early 70's.

I did not decode it, I just assumed it was what was being quoted ...

the buyer did a lot of legwork getting quotes on a hot rod and then wimps out and buys a lame low hp coupe? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif j/k, any of those cars I would be happy to own

the L79 posi 4 speed convertible with side pipes & special suspension just sounded like a purpose built (autocross?) car , , , no radio, no PS, just the go fast and handling and sound good stuff ... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Jim,
The car sold from a dealer in Canton, Ohio 10 years ago and went to Texas. I never heard back from the dealer if they had the buyer's name. Anyone want to try Texas?

As I stated in another thread

I listed one of my old 67 435hp POPs on this site

http://www.63-67corvette.com/

On the left menu is a tab for "vette search" where you can post VIN and info

ok, will go there

I saw the previous owner of a 66 alibu I had owned & sold over 30 years ago today at a swap meet and he SOLD me the POP & owner's manual from that car, now on a chase to find that one too http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
