I will also be there Wednesday-Sunday in the MCACN booth in "Tent City."
Be sure to stop by and see us, and buy a new Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals T-shirt and hat to help us spread the word.
We will also be taking registrations for cars and vendors.

Dru:
I'll be there with my 68 Firebird. She won't care if it's raining. The paint lost it's shine years ago. In fact, the wet weather might improve her appearance. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif Ed

Yea, but it didn't rain until it was almost over anyway. I've got a feeling it will be sunny. That will give the judges an opportunity to pick my car to pieces. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

....bride em with BEER !!!!!
That only works when you're the judge.

Rick:
It works on people other than Dru. I took my 53 Chevy Thriftmaster to Chevy VetteFest one year and the old guy that was responsible for judging earlier vehicles came up to me and said, "I don't know anything about these trucks". So I said, "Do you want to have a beer?" Four Hours later, I was picking up my first Bow Tie Boulevard Award. True story, Ed http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
PS: I don't think this strategy will work with Steve Shauger. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I was thinking of taking this one year. I expect they'll tell me Chevy never offered this color in '63. Technically, they'd be right. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif

I'll be there also! Look for me in the lobby of the Mega Center where the auctions are going to happen on Friday and Saturday. I'm in booth MCL-12 and I'll be there with my books. Maybe next year I'll have my new Corvette/Yenko/COPO book available!! Stop by and see me.
I'll be photographing Thursday morning for the new book, but will be in my booth until Sunday. Dr. Pete

Darren's house is probably closer to the judging field than the Pheasant Run Hotel building.
Are you running a bed & breakfast this year?

I was not able to make show but was able to get my car to the survivor show. Car did great. Nothing but great praise for car. Won a freeze frame award. Just missed top award because of a few missing original parts, but over all car was a hit. Most of the people could not get over how original the car was and the color combo.

Rob, I talked to your dad and your brother yesterday, and I was wondering, what was the date that your Nova was first registered? YHB plates and a 03C build date. There were some people on camaros.net or chevelles.com trying to figure what black plate prefixes were correct for what month cars now that California is going to allow black plates to be registered as YOM plates..... finally. I also noticed Dru's sYc member license plate frame on his Camaro convert, but he was no where around at the time I was checking his car out. It was worth the 2 1/2 hour drive to see some of the quality survivior cars, especially the 9700 mile 63 Bonneville, at least four of the Novas, the 68 Chevelle SS396, the Shelby Mustang and many others. There must have been at least 100 cars in the show. Not bad for only the second year of having a show for "steel" survivior cars. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

The car was ordered in late 68 and I think he got the car in late april or early may of 69. I also have a plain jane grandma nova I bought from the original owner from California.. She bought it and registered it in oct. of 69 and the car has the blue plates 781 aef. She told me she was one of the first in here town to get the blue plates on a new car. I guess it was when they statred to phase out the black plates.

First time i saw your car too Rob and may i say it looks great.Wish i would have brought my 70 L34,but i thought that $200.00 to have it judged was a little much.I think the turn out would have been better if the fee was lower.Maybe next year!!

Ed; Nice meeting you and as always, great to put a face with the sYc name.
So....about that GTO. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/Can-I-Have-It.gif Please consider joining us with the GTO, or perhaps another car from "the fleet". Remember, Pontiacs will now be a big part of the new show.
Dru; congrats on the award. Heck...I didn't even know your Camaro had a TV in it!
