Local TV News showed some powerful storms rolling through this part of Maryland this evening. Thought I'd get some good stuff, but, well, this is the best I could do.

My only lightning shot

I expected worse, but it's just as well the storm wasn't worse.

Cool shots. We had a tornado warning in Cecil County they held the kids at school until it passed. We had some hail, lots of lightning, driving rain and some wind. Not as bad in our area as the news was making it out to be.

We had tennis ball size hail here last night...won't here about it on the news, 'cause our closest tv weather finally admitted last night that we are "in no mans land, where little radar or reporting takes place"! Perfect...luckily, we were over in West Plains at our boys' baseball games, so we missed it all...

We can't pour our new cement driveway for the new home until we get some clear and sunny days. I looked at the extended 6-10 day forecast and every day has a 30% chance of rain. What's up?

Cool pics BTW

Luckily it was all mostly north of town, which means it missed our stuff, but Mo & his son [Alex] were just getting home when it hit and Alex said before he could get under the carport his TrailBlazer got hit on top and he thought he'd hit something because it was so loud...

Tough stuff Rob! I can't remember when a Spring time or even a year so far has been so rainy and off beat. Showers and overcast here again today. Keep the kids and older folks out of that hail and lightning stuff. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif
