Tires Needed!!!

looking for a set of either in f-60-15:
firestone wide oval
or
goodyear poly gt's

I would recommend the Goodyears, they are better tires than the Firestone wide ovals. You can buy them from Kelsey tire www.kelseytire.com (http://www.kelseytire.com) Not cheap at 235.00 a tire.

Are you saying the repros are better or the originals are better?

Good luck finding originals of either tire but both tires mentioned here are available as repros and I think the Goodyears are a much better tire. Coker sells the Firestones at 231.00 a tire....so for the extra 4 bucks a tire, I still say go with the Goodyear Polyglas GT's.

This is one of three I have:

Two in this condition...brand new in 1973 by the codes on the side with original dull gray "rough" paint on the wheels and one that I drove on so it is worn on the edge and that wheel I stupidly painted silver. Are the Old ones like this better than the repros?
