View Full Version : What do you think of the new add I put up
Wife needs a bigger wagon type for the two greyhounds we adopted. I placed her 2008 Honda Hybrid Civic up on Ebay. Looking to sell and also get rid of the payments.
What do you think of the add?

Try a Ford escape. We have the Mecury Mariner and it's all-wheel drive and gets 32-34 mph. Lots of room in it. I'm not a Ford man, but I do like it. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
It is "her car" and she has had three Hondas and has never had a problem. I own and have owned only Ford trucks. Love my truck. She is open minded so she is considering all of her options. She really prefers a hatch back though so that the dogs can get in and out easier.

Ford Escape or Chevy HHR. Ford Escape is still selling like hotcakes, so don't look for a rebate.

http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/Charley.gif How long have you been married? She is a grown women and has a right to decide what she wants to drive. I once made that mistake buying her a used car and brought it home and said here you go honey. Ya right, that went over just swell http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif Let's not turn this thread into a US vs. Jap car theme here. If we (she) can find a nice wagon that will suit her needs that would be great, but it is her car not mine.

So you're tellin me the two greyhounds can drive? I had heard they were intelligent but WOW!
I guess if they are argueing all the time about which one is going to drive, then I'd have to get them all their own cars, too.
Glad I have Basenjis and little mutts...they're all too short to reach the pedals. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

No worries mate, congrats on a long marriage. Having been married a while myself I've have learned that if momma is happy I am happy. Besides if she chooses her car I get mine. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif
Sorry but the words "Take your ba&&s out of your purse" I found to be a little offensive.
