im doing a correct rest on my 72z and will be putting on new exhaust... im highly considering the gardner system... does anyone have opinions on this system?
and
would you recommend welding or using the clamps, and why?
thanks,
scott
Go with Gardener..absolutely the best fit..welds rust and look crappy... I stick with the clamps.

You will be very happy with the Gardner. If you want it to look like factory, have it welded like the factory did it. Gardner will need to know ahead of time which way you will be installing....if you use clamps, they will slit the pipes so they go together easier but if you weld, they don't slit the pipes and they fit tighter when you slide the two pieces together. Here are before and after pics of my Gardner system installed on a 70 Z28. I chose to have mine welded like the factory did it.

No doubt a nice system. Just make sure to place your order a month in advance.. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Gardners are pricey, but they bolt up with no issues and have the right hangers and hardware. You won't be dissapointed.
