I am in the market for a new daily driver and am thinking about these as my choices:

2004-2006 GTO
1998-2002 Camaro SS hardtop
1996 LT4 Corvette

I have been looking on Autotrader, Ebay, LS1Tech, LS1GTO and the Corvetteforum but, have not been able to find anything wihtin 100 miles of my area (Southern New Jersey)

What sites, or other locating services, do you guys suggest and which one of the 3 cars listed would you choose and why?
I am hoping to stay under $20k on the purchase price.

Thanks,

Dave

Here's the links to the Craigslist and Kiji Geek sites where you can search the Craigslist and Kiji of all citys at once!.

http://kijigeek.com/us/

http://craigslist.extads.com/

These are the US sites..
If you're in Canada or elsewhere, on the Kiji one at least you can click on the upper flags to access your country's site..

Good luck!.

I like the craigslist.extads search. Check out what I found playing on it:

This may be worth the drive to Charlotte NC. I could look at the car for you if you want.

For a daily driver I would recommend a GTO. It will give you a more comfortable ride for daily commuting. IMO the firmer suspensions of the Camaro and Vette get tiring after a while.

ls1tech.com for the Camaro SS, Id look for a GTO site and check the member for sale cars.
One of the good things about these sites, members usually join when they buy the car new and by searching back posts you can see how the car was used or if they did mods along the way.

As it turns out I didn't buy any of the cars I listed in the original posting. Instead I increased; or I should say my wife increased, my vehicle budget and I wound up buying a 2002 Corvette Z06 with 18,500 miles on it. I absolutely love this car and it definitely puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it.

Can we ask please Dave, what that cost and where you bought it?
Good Luck http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

I found it on Autotrader and it was located in the NY area. I paid $25,000.00 for the car and, while some may say I paid too much, I don't care because I am thrilled to death with the car.
