2002 Camaro SS - ZL1 Tribute

I bought this car new in October of 2002. It was a toy for pleasure driving, and it has only seen 9,170 miles of use. It started out life as a true SS with the 345 HP option package. The car is loaded with options, including full power accessories, automatic trans, and leather. About 4 years ago I set out to create a tribute (not an exact clone) to the 2002 ZL1, and this car was built around many styling cues from those cars.

The body was refinished in 1969 Hugger Orange with black ZL1 stripes. This was accomplished with incredible attention to detail. The paint shop specializes in restoration of original Shelby Mustangs, and they only work on a few cars at any given time. All of the glass and body panels were removed to ensure proper finish in the jambs and seams. The end result is stunning from any angle.

Additional investments and upgrades include:

<ul type="square"> Corvette Z06 Motorsports wheels in 18x9.5” front and 18x10.5” rear
Nitto tires (less than 20 miles) – NT555 275/35/18 front and NT555R 305/35/18 rear drag radials
Cross drilled and slotted brake rotors
Custom PCM programming to maximize engine and transmission performance
Optima battery (new)
Eibach Pro Kit springs
Bilstein custom valved shocks and struts (Strano)
Direct Flow air lid
K&amp;N air filter
Mobil 1 engine compartment plaque and oil fill cap
Billet grille refinished in charcoal grey with 1969 bowtie emblem
Power antenna
[/list]

I have more than $20K invested in upgrades. I have all of the original paperwork for the car; window sticker, SLP supplemental window sticker, owner's manual, SLP supplemental owner's manual; 2002 Camaro dealer brochure, etc. The car has been meticulously maintained and cared for. It's garage kept, and it's never been driven in inclement weather. The purchase includes a custom fit Plush Weave cover from California Car Covers.

$22,500

I'm offering this exclusively on the forums at this price before moving to Ebay next week.

I replaced the Blackwing lid with the Direct Flow immediately after taking delivery of the car. I no longer have the lid, but they're readily available should someone want to go that route.

The car is now listed on Ebay. I uploaded 24 pictures and provided an extensive description. The reserve is $19,000 but I will end the auction early for $22,500. I will not end the auction once the reserve has been met.
