I recently just picked this up and I have never seen one like this before in my life. This unit does not attach directly to the transmission. It has a mount to attach to the crossmember or another mounting bracket. There is also another mounting rod or it could be a support bracket attached to the side with an E clip that mounts to who knows where. The handle appears to be for bench seat. The linkage is for a Muncie transmission. Any help?
Thanks SYC
Matt

Not sure of model application (edit: oops, Crash got in while I was typing), but obviously a 64-67 vintage with the reverse lockout T-bar. I thought that most (if not all) Muncie shifters attached to the crossmember, which was one of their inherent problems http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
