I was going to clone a ZL1 but it's something that I just won't get to in the near future. The block is dated 2-14-69 (primetime ZL1 production). This block was in a sand rail in the Oregon area for many years. It had a rod come loose and it's racing days were over. It appears that the necessary welding was completed but the welds were never cleaned up. I have had the block pressure tested and there are a few minor leaks that are marked. The block has an excellent exterior appearance.
The package also includes service dated 074 heads. Again, they aren't perfect but are very usable. A near mint 194 intake, an excellent 927 distributor properly dated for the block, a 7115 freshly turned crank, and all of the main caps.
