I hope you guys don't mind me posting this here , I shed a few tears when I heard the news . The last of a unique generation , the bravest of the brave .

Thanks for this posting and link...I'd heard this on the news over the weekend and was going to look it up today..

As mentioned in past postings, both my Grandfathers were WW1 Vets...obviously both made it home of I wouldn't be here..
I inherited one of their Kit bags, complete w/ diary, helmet, utensils, letters from Mom and all and anytime I feel like I've had a tough day, a few minutes going through the bag makes me see things w/ different eyes and understand much more clearly how we are the most blessed generation ever..

RIP Harry and thank you and your brothers for the sacrifices you gave for the freedom we all enjoy today!.
