I have a flywheel here I may use. Not sure where it came from. It probably came with some motor I bought at some point. Anyone have a thought?
Here are the numbers:
3729004
K96 22
That's the casting number, but Chevrolet recognizes it as part #3739423 officially.
Used on 1955-62 M/T Corvettes w/V-8 small blocks,1955-64 Impala w/V-8 small blocks & 409cid,(but not w/Z-11 package),and a multitude of 1964-66 & 1967-69 series 10-20 Trucks w/230 & 250 cid. motors.

Thanks Rick. Sounds like it wouldn't be the best application for a big block, fairly high hp motor.
I agree..
Also used briefly on ANY 1970 M/T vehicle w/2 bbl.350cid.,before being discontinued.
