A friend of mine just purchased this red /red Chevelle convertible ,LS5, 4spd, a/c, buckets-console, gauges,am/fm 8track, washer monitor and more. Does anyone know of any other red/red ss convertibles. This car has the "it" factor.

Is any one from this sites administration ever going to fix the glitch so that attachments can once again be viewed, or are you just going to leave things the way they are and say screw it????

Rats! I love the red on red combo too. Try www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) You cab download for free and then copy the IMG link and paste to your reply. Works for me. Just be sure that the file size fits on this page.

See? Told ya!

And keep in mind that digital cameras don't always reveal the true red, especially under direct sunlight, so this car undoubtedly looks a lot nicer in person.

Tom/Rob are the only administrators of the site, and the only ones who have access to the inner workings of the server. Rob generally handles these types of issues, and does a great job keeping everything operating smoothly. I'm sure it's not easy running a website and having a family, job, etc. at the same time.

I PM'd him as soon as I discovered the problem, and have not yet heard from him... he's usually quick to reply so I'm assuming he's out of town and will take care of it as soon as humanly possible. I think you'll survive a few days without the ability to post/view attachments. No need for the sarcastic comments.

Hey Steve, Nice Chevelle btw...and thank you Bryan for direct linking the photos.

Steve I sold a Red/Red SS396 loaded with neat options like Rear Defrost, Fiber Optics, and all the other goodies, to Yesteryear in Ok. several years ago with all the Canadian docs.

The car was well known in Uppper Darby, and sat in front of the owner Pizzaria for years. The car was restored by Gary Thurlow and still has its orig drivetrain and documentation.

There were a lot of guys chasing the car, but somehow Mike S. made the deal.

Looks like a real nice acquisition by your friend. No easy task finding these with a buildsheet.

Do you know which mfg. facility and month/week it was built?

Built 4A at Baltimore. The car just came from Muscatine IA.
