Both ads are fraudulent.
The owner just called to inquire if I had placed them as my name is mentioned although mis-spelled. Neither of us knows Rod in Omaha.
Sounds like a con to me.

the phone number is in the reverse directory
Maybe it is someone's idea of a joke. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Authenic ZL-1 Camero
the same phone number has four cars for sale in Omaha here (http://www.omahasuperads.com/Collectible_Autos_Classifieds/index.aspx)
edit: I removed the name and address of the person who owns that phone number, they may be a legitimate car salesperson who is a victim of the false ad poster. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Lots of info info online when you google that number.

Is there anyone on this site that lives in or near Boise Idaho? That is where we bought ZL-1 #4 in 1988. There is an ownership gap from 1974-1979. The trail starts again in '79 when it was traded in Boise in '79 on an AZ title. I know the name but none of the phones or addresses is valid.

I have never thought about it before, but are really ALL the Douglas Yenko Camaros part of the 198 Camaros Yenko sold in 1969 ? Since Douglas ordered some directly from Chevrolet after the initial shipment from Yenko, wouldn´t the number be 198 Yenkos plus some Douglas Yenkos ?

Yes; the "Dougkos" are not part of the 198/201 number, whichever it is.

Actually some are. Before ordering in his own COPOS, JD was part of the Yenko dealer network, selling Yenkos converted at Canonsburg. I believe it was in one of these cars he found the paperwork IDing the cars as factory 427s.
