1971 6 cylinder converted to a ZL-1 427 backed up with a TKO 600.

Car has 6,000 documented miles.

I am likely to sell this car because it is almost too nice too drive and I still have my '69 454 car.

I need to get some interior shots, but this is what the exterior looks like now.

I am debating swapping a flat or SS hood onto it.

I like it! I really, really like it! Not crazy about the bumper guards though, but I'll tell 'ya that front chin spoiler (Camaro?) looks really good on there. I don't think I've ever seen that done before. Great job though!

Nice Nova. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif Those new L60-15s that Rusty Small is working with Kelsey to make would look nice on the back (would they fit? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif ). Maybe with some Cragars on the back too! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

I am torn on the chin spoiler. I like it from some angles.

I will say it is growing on me though. It makes the car look as though it is sitting lower to teh ground because it closes up the gap between the ground and the bumper.

I will admit that while we have built a lot of cars for our collection this one was mostly done. The attention to detail is what made me interested in the car. I have never seen so many fasteners zinc plated and so many components powder coated!

And, thanks for the compliments.

Need to install the second row of rocker moldings, just doesn't look complete - then you'd have to paint it black in between - but it would really look nice with the black tail, black grill, black tires, etc...

I like everything about that Nova except the "Hurst Equipped" badge and the Yenko badge. As the saying goes; "We don't need no stinking badges".

This looks just like a car I use to own. Has this car ever been Georgia?

cottonwood Green # 42.

Believe it or not it is survivor paint and is in great shape. Only the hood and the front fender tops sides were painted when the cowl hood was put on it for blending purposes.

Has been and still is.

EDIT: I just realized my location said "NY" and I will fix that. I moved to the Dirty South about a year and a half ago.

The Yenko badge is definitely coming off, but I really like teh old school look of the Hurst badge. It is like a "day two" sort of change that some one would have made back in the day.

Love the car, but since you mentioned the hood, I don't care for the cowl hood. Great car though!
