So, when do you think you'll see the first SuperStock OR Stock Camaro at the drags? Body-In-White (only in color) are already being shipped to a short list of buyers.... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Now what needs to take place is to have the Trans Am series brought back and have the Camaro, Mustang and Challenger duke it out again.

Nickey Chicago, Inc. has been approved by GM Performance Parts, to receive a "body in white".

So, there will be a 2010 Nickey Super Camaro Drag race car.

I cant see buying a body in white for a stock or super stock, and pro stock doesnt use any production components.By the time you buy all the components to complete it such as glass, bumpers, interior parts ect,the cost might be near that of a whole car.If you are racing stock and super stock you need the stock head, block and other castings to build the car so why not just buy the car?Aside from a fastest street car type ride there isnt much of a market for these cars.I looked into getting one,and decided it would be better to buy a whole 1LT car and sell what I dont need.Even better yet might be to buy an SS and sell the V8 and 6 speed trans long with the wiring harness and all that to a street rodder.Sell the wheels, the rear suspention and all that, you could be below the cost of a body in white with all the panels and trim and have a painted car too.

The class is going to change as soon as the car hits the track.Idont think there is any accurate data to factor the power on the LS9 so I am sure it is going to be bumped up unless the factor it high right from the start.

Stock, SuperStock? AA/S. I guess it will have to compete with the Mustangs and Challengers.
