View Full Version : Anyone else experience this Paypal problem?

Over the past two days I have now had three people try to send me money, but Paypal tells them my email address is not valid. If I send them an invoice then it can be processed just fine. Several others have come through without any difficulty at all. Although it shouldn't really make any difference, all three incidents occurred late evening EDT (EG - within a half hour of posting this).
After the first incident last night I called them and was advised there were no concerns at their end. There were no problems with "limits" as they call them. I will probably send them an email now for further clarification.
Anybody have a similar problem? Thanks.

Huh, have not had a problem. Ebay and PayPal are getting out of control though. I would jump on using a new service and invest in it.

Maybe that is the problem. I was one of the 3 and I just tried cut and paste (which has worked before). Next time I will try to type it. thanks
I have been waiting for a payment and decided to email him an invoice before I read this thread. I will ask him if he experienced this glitch.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago when trying to pay for a few things. turned out to be the "cut and paste" too.
All I did was highlight the "@" and then type just the "@" in, and it works every time.
HTH.
Just had this happen this morning. Trying to send $ to a member here.... but I was just pasting. Did not try to type the email address. Found a different way to handle the transaction.
