What do you need? What condition is the carb in? Is it restored ready to go or need rebuilt? All correct metering blocks?

No, the car has the original engine. I'm just looking for some of the parts that are missing off of the motor. I do also need a grille.

ok
I don't understand why I can't sell this motor, you would think L78's as hard as they are to find, especially with identifing marks would be a wanted item.
Opinions?
Welcome
Because you asked,I would start your very own topic in the "Parts For Sale" area, found elsewhwere on this website.List the codes and dates found on it,as well as the overall condition of the block and any history you know about it..Take very good detailed & close up pictures and state the asking price up front.
You're not doing the block or yourself any justice by mentioning it on the back end of another topic.

Dennis,
The 69 Chevelle grilles are still available from Chevrolet. They list for $285. I have one in the unopened box for $200 plus shipping. PM me if interested.

I have found out the guy selling me the chevelle is having trouble with getting the car titled in Ohio because he never titled it in 1996 when he purchased the car from a dealer down in Kentucky. I just found out today from him he is not going to sell me the car at this time so all of the parts I had listed I would need for this project will no longer be needed. It was a hell of a find and I wish the deal would have gone through. It was a monaco orange black vinyl top four speed bench seat L78 396 numbers matching car with only 64,000 original miles. It was only 60 miles from my house. I guess I will have to start looking all over again but this one hurts to loose because of how intact the car was and only missing a couple of its original pieces. Thankyou for all of the responses to help me locate these parts.

Sorry your deal fell apart Dennis..
I've looked and can't find it but wasn't there a thread here about 6 months ago where someone was wondering if a Monaco Orange w/ Black hat L78 '69 Chevelle was their original car?.
I'm not talkin' about Roger's DH car that turned out to be a Copo but in the thread I'm thinking of there may have been two similar cars being discussed and one of the guys had broken his rear axle housing back in the day???
I could be nuts too but hate to stay silent if this could be another chance for the guy finding his car?.

I can tell you this car history is originally from Virginia and went to North Carolina and then Kentucky before coming to Ohio. I still might have an outside shot if he is willing to pay all of the fees which sounds like alot before he titles the car here in Ohio. I think he is changing his mind on selling it and maybe wants to keep it and restore the car himself. Hard to find one complete and not disturbed like this one was.
