I bought an onboard camera and have been shooting footage when I drive my cars. I then use MS moviemaker to make a film. The sound is limited because the camera is in a water/windproof box, but the video is kinda cool.
This last one took me 3 hours of editing!

There is more there in my videos to see....

Enjoy,

JOHN http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

PS i had some great footage from my 70Z, but I somehow lost the files.............I will reshoot this fall.

Johnny...enjoyed the show. May I ask what kind of camera and mounts you used? and the big question, is it really easy to use?

thanks...Jeff

Thanks for the kind words! When I get the time, I enjoy making them.

Jeff, the camera is a gopro motorsports hero wide angle. It comes with mounts, the most used is the suction cup. It is very easy to use, and I hope, to master.

John,

That is SLICK as hell!! You need to do one with your Citrus 70' Z and put that on ebay with the ride along or with a link in all the other places you have it advertised I think people would eat that up and it could really help sell the car.

Very cool I want one now.

I had even better footage with the Z28, and somehow between camera and computers.......I deleted it..*%&^*%

As soon as I have the time, I am going to shoot at least 6 angles of the 70z.

Now that its fall and i am putting the boat away (after 2 movies) I can shoot some other cars.

I already have the Hemicuda footage "in the can" including a following car with the mount.....

Cheers, http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Great video! Love the view off of the back when you were peeling out! I have one of those sticky pods for my camera, always just mounted it to the dash...guess I'd better get out the '68 stick it on a couple different places and start shooting.

Johnny,

I just wanted to let you know that I alerted the Lake Geneva authorities that somebody stole your sleeves. They immediately dropped the search for the guy in the old car seen burning rubber after abducting a handsome young blond boy. They assure me that they will find the miscreant responsible for defacing such a nice blue t-shirt.

Hang in there, bro, we'll get them back!

http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif Hmmmm... thanks for the hint Colin. John, I'd start looking for a guy to the north of you, geographically speaking. I hear tell it gets down right cold up in, say, Wisconsin for example. Those folks up there are always looking for extra sleeves for the long, cold winters they have up 'ere. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

LOL My wife commented on the wife beater. It is actually a finished, albeit, sleeveless shirt from the Milwaukee Mile!
I try to stay out of the shots but I keep forgetting how wide angle that thing is...........(quiet in the peanut gallery)

I actually have a hat on, which i rarely wear, I remember that morning was a no shower, "come on Dad", type of day.

PS no animals were harmed in the making of this film http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
